Product Description:
The VELUX EDP MK04 flashing kit is designed to weatherproof a single VELUX roof window installed in a plain tile roof. Sized to the MK04 window at 780 x 980mm, it provides the seal between the window frame and the surrounding roof covering on new installations and window replacements.
The flashing is what keeps the roof watertight around the opening. A roof window interrupts the normal path water takes down a roof, so the covering has to be redirected around the frame and the join sealed at the head, sides, and sill. The EDP kit is engineered specifically for that, with pre-formed components that fit the VELUX frame exactly and dress into the surrounding tiles, giving a reliable seal without the site-formed lead work the job would otherwise requires
