Our Standard Textured Paving Slab measures 600 x 600mm and is supplied in a natural grey tone. It is suitable for patios, pathways, garden steps, seating areas, driveways and paths around the house, bin and shed bases, and general hard landscaping across domestic and light commercial projects.

The textured face is the main reason to choose this slab over a smooth one. A lightly profiled surface gives considerably better grip underfoot in wet and frosty weather, which matters on paths, steps, slopes, and anywhere used daily through winter, where a smooth slab can become slippery — particularly in shade, where algae builds up. The texture also disguises small marks and general wear better than a flat face.

Natural grey is the standard paving colour and the most adaptable. It sits neutrally against brick, render, and timber without competing with them, works equally well in traditional and modern settings, and does not date in the way a strongly coloured slab can. At 600 x 600mm the slabs are a convenient single-size format, laying in a straight grid or staggered bond without the planning a mixed-size pack requires, and each slab covers 0.36m². Lay on a full mortar bed over a compacted sub-base.
