Our Raj Green Sandstone Patio Pack is a complete project pack of naturally quarried Indian sandstone, supplied in a mix of slab sizes ready to lay. Covering 18.97m², it is sized for a typical domestic patio, seating area, or garden pathway, and suits traditional, country, and cottage gardens particularly well.

Raj Green runs through subtle greens, browns, and greys, with darker banding and veining across the face of the stone. It is one of the warmer sandstones, sitting naturally alongside planting, timber, and buff and honey-toned brick and render, and it weathers attractively over time rather than losing its character. Being quarried rather than manufactured, every slab differs, and that variation is what gives a laid patio its depth compared with the repetition of concrete or porcelain.

The riven surface is formed by splitting the stone along its natural bed, leaving a textured, slightly undulating face with good grip underfoot in wet weather. The pack contains a mix of sizes, allowing random and staggered laying patterns rather than a repeating grid, and slabs are calibrated to a consistent thickness so they bed evenly on a full mortar bed, the recommended method for natural stone. Sandstone is porous, so a sealant is worth considering after laying to reduce staining and make cleaning easier, particularly around dining and barbecue areas.
