Product Description:

Longrake Polar White Chippings are a decorative aggregate in clean bright white tones, supplied in a 20kg handy bag. The 20mm size suits borders and flower beds, planters and pot toppings, rockeries, water features, memorial and grave dressing, and small decorative areas around the garden.

White aggregate lifts a space in a way no other colour does. It reflects light into shaded corners and north-facing beds where darker stone closes things down, makes a small area read as more open, and gives the strongest contrast available against green planting, dark fencing, and charcoal or slate paving. It is also the traditional choice for memorial and grave dressing, where a clean, bright finish is wanted.

At 20kg, the bag suits exactly the kind of work white stone is most often bought for — dressing planters and containers, picking out a feature bed, memorial dressing, and topping up where the stone has thinned or dulled over time. It can be carried and poured by one person, fits in a car boot, and stores easily between uses. A depth of around 40mm is usually enough for decorative work, laid over a weed membrane. Dirt and algae show more readily on white stone than on darker aggregates, though a rinse will generally bring the brightness back. Larger areas are more economically covered with the bulk bag.
