Longrake Cotswold Chippings are a decorative limestone aggregate in warm cream and honey tones, supplied in a bulk bag. The 10–20mm size suits garden paths, borders, flower beds, rockeries, pot toppings, water features, and general decorative landscaping, and is one of the most recognisable and widely used garden aggregates in the UK.

Cotswold stone is distinctive for its warmth. The pale cream and buff colouring lifts shaded corners and north-facing beds considerably, reflecting light in a way that grey and dark aggregates cannot, and it sits beautifully against the honey-coloured stone and render of Cotswold and period properties, as well as with buff block paving, sandstone paving, and traditional brick. The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they knit together into a firm, stable surface that holds its position on level ground.

Supplied in a bulk bag, the chippings are ready to spread straight onto a prepared area. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually sufficient for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath. Coverage will vary with depth. Being a light colour, Cotswold chippings do show dirt and organic staining more readily than darker aggregates over time, so they are at their best in beds, borders, and feature areas rather than under overhanging trees or in heavily trafficked spots.
