Product Description:
Our Fossil Mint Sandstone Patio Pack is a complete project pack of natural Indian sandstone paving, supplied in a mix of slab sizes ready to lay. It is suited to patios, seating areas, garden pathways, and courtyards across domestic and light commercial landscaping, and works well in both traditional and contemporary gardens.
Fossil Mint is one of the most varied sandstones available, running through pale cream and buff into soft green, pink, and russet tones, often with several colours appearing within a single slab. The name comes from the fossil markings and mineral banding visible across the surface, which give the stone its distinctive character. Because it is quarried rather than manufactured, no two slabs are alike, and that variation is what gives a laid patio its depth compared with the repetition of concrete or porcelain. The riven surface, formed by splitting the stone along its natural bed, gives a textured face with good grip underfoot in wet weather.
