Product Description:
Our 3ft Closeboard Vertical Fence Panel is a heavy-duty pressure treated panel built from overlapping vertical featheredge boards fixed to a framed, braced backing. At 3ft high it suits front garden boundaries, low dividing fences between neighbouring gardens, borders alongside paths and driveways, and any boundary where a clear line is wanted without blocking light or outlook.
Closeboard is the strongest panel construction commonly available, and the difference from standard overlap or waney edge panels is significant. The tapered featheredge boards are fixed individually onto horizontal rails, overlapping each other to give a solid, gap-free face with no visibility through the fence, while the thicker timber sections and braced frame stand up to wind far better than thin lapped slats. Should a board be damaged, it can be replaced on its own rather than swapping out the whole panel.
