Manufactured from thin layers of timber veneer bonded together with the grain of each layer running at right angles to the one beneath, it is ideal for furniture and cabinet making, shelving, floor and roof decking, wall linings, and general carpentry work in both domestic and commercial settings.

This cross grained construction is what gives plywood its strength and stability. It resists warping, splitting, and movement far better than solid timber of the same thickness, and holds its dimensions consistently through changes in temperature and humidity, making it a dependable choice for projects where accuracy matters. The layered structure also gives good screw-holding along the face of the board and reliable load-bearing performance across a span.

The smooth, even surface is ready to paint, stain, varnish, or veneer, and can equally be left exposed where a natural finish is wanted. Sheets cut cleanly with a circular saw or jigsaw and can be drilled, screwed, and nailed using standard tools and fixings. For the cleanest cut, use a fine-toothed blade and support the sheet fully to reduce splintering along the underside.
