Our OSB is a versatile engineered wood panel manufactured by bonding layers of compressed wood strands with resin under high pressure and heat. The strands in each layer are aligned in alternating directions, giving the finished board strength in both length and width and making it suitable for flooring, roof decking, wall sheathing, hoarding, shuttering, packaging, and general site and workshop use.

This layered construction is what gives OSB its load-bearing capacity and dimensional stability, allowing it to perform reliably as a structural sheathing material in both residential and commercial construction. It offers a consistent, knot-free sheet with none of the voids or weak points found in some other board materials, and typically costs less than plywood of an equivalent thickness, making it a popular choice with builders, contractors, and DIY installers alike.

Easy to work with on site, OSB can be cut, drilled, screwed, and nailed using standard tools and fixings. The uniform sheet sizes reduce cutting and waste on larger areas, and the board takes paint, varnish, or edge banding well where it is being used decoratively for furniture, shelving, or interior finishes. Manufactured from fast-growing timber and strands that would otherwise go unused, OSB makes efficient use of the raw material.
