Our Rasa Grey Porcelain Paving is a large-format outdoor porcelain slab for patios, terraces, pathways, and garden seating areas. At 900 x 600mm it covers ground quickly with fewer joints than smaller paving, giving the clean, open finish that suits contemporary gardens, outdoor dining areas, and patios designed to run on from the house.

Grey has become the default for modern paving, and for good reason. It sits neutrally against almost any backdrop — render, timber, brick, or glazing — without competing with it, and makes green planting and garden furniture read more sharply than a warm-toned slab would. Rasa Grey carries soft, even grey tones with subtle variation across the face, keeping a large laid area from looking flat.

Fired at very high temperatures into a dense, virtually non-porous slab, porcelain absorbs almost no water, so it resists frost, will not fade in sunlight, and shrugs off the moss, algae, grease, and food and drink stains that mark natural stone. There is no sealing to do and no annual restoration, just an occasional wash with soapy water, and the textured outdoor finish keeps the surface grippy underfoot in wet weather. Each slab carries its own variation in tone and pattern, so a patio reads as natural rather than repetitive. Bed on a full mortar bed with a slurry primer applied to the back of each slab, as porcelain's low porosity means mortar alone will not bond reliably, and cut with a diamond blade rated for porcelain.
