Longrake White Cobbles are large, naturally rounded stones in bright white and pale cream tones, supplied in a 20kg bag. The 40–90mm size suits water features and pond edging, dry stream beds, rockeries, bed and border edging, large containers, and decorative dressing where a bold, bright stone is wanted.

Cobbles are chosen for their shape and scale rather than for coverage. Smoothed and rounded by water over a long period, each stone is substantial enough to be seen individually rather than reading as a surface, which is why they work so well around ponds and water features, as edging to beds, and for creating dry stream beds and naturalistic arrangements. In white, that effect is amplified: the stones stand out strongly against green planting, dark mulch, and grey paving, and lift shaded areas in a way no other colour does.

Their weight is a practical advantage too. Large cobbles stay exactly where they are put, so they will not wash out in heavy rain or scatter as finer gravel can, which makes them useful for holding down membrane at the edge of a bed and for areas where pets or children would disturb a smaller aggregate. At 20kg, the bag holds relatively few stones given their size, so cobbles are generally used as a feature or accent rather than to cover a large area. White stone also shows dirt and algae more readily than darker aggregate, though a rinse will usually restore the brightness
