Longrake Ice Blue Chippings are a decorative aggregate in pale blue-grey and silver tones, supplied in a 20kg bag. The 14–20mm size suits borders and flower beds, planters and pot toppings, rockeries, water features, small pathways, and contemporary landscaping schemes.

Ice Blue is one of the cooler aggregates in the range, with a pale silvery-blue cast that sits between a true white and a mid grey. The colour deepens and the blue tone becomes more pronounced when wet. It works particularly well with grey porcelain and paving, silver and blue-green foliage, modern render and cladding, and contemporary planting schemes, where warmer gravels such as Cotswold or apricot would sit awkwardly.

The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they knit together into a firm surface that holds its position in beds and containers. At 20kg, the bag is sized for smaller areas and for topping up where stone has thinned over time, can be carried and poured by one person, and lets customers try the colour against their paving and planting before committing to a larger quantity. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually sufficient for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath. Being a pale stone, it shows dirt and organic staining more readily than darker aggregates, though a rinse will generally restore it.
