Product Description:

CT1 is a hybrid polymer sealant and adhesive in one cartridge, bonding and sealing almost any combination of building materials. Supplied in a 290ml cartridge in white, it is used for sealing around baths, showers, sinks, and worktops, bonding and sealing around windows, doors, and frames, fixing skirting, architrave, coving, and trims, and general repair work across construction, plumbing, joinery, and DIY.

CT1 covers a wide range of jobs without a change of product. It bonds and seals on wet and damp surfaces and will even cure underwater, so repairs can go ahead without waiting for dry conditions. Once cured it remains permanently flexible, moving with temperature change and vibration without cracking, and it does not shrink, so the seal holds its shape over time. It is free from solvents and isocyanates, has very little odour, and is suitable for indoor use.

White is the most widely used colour in the range, and the natural choice for interiors. It gives a clean finish against white sanitaryware, tiles, and worktop upstands, white uPVC windows, doors, and fascias, painted skirting and joinery, and plastered and painted walls. It is equally useful for bonding and gap-filling behind trims and coving, where it can be painted over once cured to match the surrounding decoration. The cured sealant is UV resistant and will not yellow or break down in sunlight. Apply with a standard sealant gun, tool the joint smooth before it skins, and clean off any excess while still wet.
