Product Description:

CT1 is a hybrid polymer sealant and adhesive in one cartridge, bonding and sealing almost any combination of building materials. Supplied in a 290ml cartridge in black, it is used for bonding and sealing around windows, doors, and frames, fixing trims, skirting, and panels, sealing gutters, roofing joints, and flashings, bonding stone, metal, glass, timber, and plastics, and general repair work across construction, plumbing, roofing, and DIY.

The appeal of CT1 is how many jobs it covers without a change of product. It bonds and seals on wet and damp surfaces, and will even cure underwater, so gutter leaks, pond repairs, and outdoor jobs can be done without waiting for dry weather. Once cured it stays permanently flexible, allowing joints to move with temperature change and vibration without cracking, and it does not shrink, so the seal holds its shape over time. It is free from solvents and isocyanates, has very little odour, and can be used indoors without the fumes associated with traditional sealants.

The black finish suits guttering, roofing, dark window frames, black fixtures, and anywhere a discreet dark joint is wanted, and the cured sealant is UV resistant, so it will not break down or discolour in direct sunlight. Apply using a standard sealant gun, tool the joint smooth before it skins, and clean off excess while it is still wet. Once cured, CT1 can be overpainted with most paints.
