Longrake Ice Blue Chippings are a decorative aggregate in pale blue-grey and silver tones, supplied in a bulk bag. The 14–20mm size suits garden borders and flower beds, pathways, rockeries, pot toppings, water features, and contemporary landscaping across domestic and commercial projects.

Ice Blue is one of the cooler aggregates in the range, with a pale silvery-blue cast sitting between a true white and a mid grey. The colour deepens and the blue tone becomes more pronounced when wet. It pairs particularly well with grey porcelain and paving, silver and blue-green foliage, modern render and cladding, and contemporary planting, where warmer gravels such as Cotswold or apricot would look out of place.

The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they knit together into a firm surface that holds its position across a bed or path. Supplied in a bulk bag, it is ready to spread straight onto a prepared area, and buying in bulk works out considerably cheaper per kilo than handy bags once an area runs beyond a border or two. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually sufficient for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath. Coverage will vary with depth. Being a pale stone, it shows dirt and organic staining more readily than darker aggregates, though a rinse will generally restore it.
