Blue slate chippings are an extremely popular decorative aggregate that can be used for multiple purposes. As well as adding appeal to garden features and borders, the flat slate is also widely used for garden paths and other general landscaping projects. The popularity of blue slate chippings comes as the aggregate offers practical benefits. The slate chips can be utilised to prevent weed growth, manage water retention when used as ground cover, and to deter algae growth - making garden upkeep easier whilst increasing appeal.
