Longrake Polar White Chippings are a decorative aggregate in clean bright white tones, supplied in a bulk bag. The 20mm size suits garden borders and flower beds, pathways, rockeries, pot toppings, water features, memorial and grave dressing, and contemporary landscaping schemes across domestic and commercial projects.

White aggregate lifts a space in a way no other colour does. It reflects light into shaded corners, north-facing beds, and narrow side returns where darker stone closes things down, makes a small garden read as larger and more open, and gives the strongest possible contrast against green planting, dark fencing, and charcoal or slate paving. It is also a traditional choice for memorial and grave dressing, where a clean, bright stone is wanted.

The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they knit together into a firm surface that stays where it is laid. Supplied in a bulk bag, a depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually sufficient for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath. Coverage will vary with depth. As with all pale aggregates, dirt, leaf litter, and algae show more readily than on darker stone, though the surface can be rinsed and brought back to its original brightness, so Polar White is at its best in open beds and feature areas rather than under overhanging trees.
