Longrake Cotswold Chippings are a decorative limestone aggregate in warm cream and honey tones, supplied in a 20kg handy bag. The 10–20mm size suits borders and flower beds, planters and pot toppings, rockeries, water features, narrow pathways, and general decorative work around the garden.

Cotswold stone has been a mainstay of British gardens for generations, and the appeal is the colour. Pale cream and buff with gentle variation from stone to stone, it brightens shaded corners and north-facing beds where a grey aggregate would deaden them, and it sits naturally against honey-toned stone and render, buff block paving, sandstone paving, and traditional brickwork. The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they settle and knit together into a firm surface that stays where it is put.

At 20kg, the bag is sized for smaller jobs and for topping up areas where the stone has thinned over time. It can be carried and poured by one person, fits in a car boot, and stores easily without needing to be covered. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually enough for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and stop it working down into the soil. For larger areas, the same chippings are available in a bulk bag at a lower cost per kilo.
