Longrake Ocean Blue Pebbles are smooth, naturally rounded pebbles in blue-grey, slate, and silver tones, supplied in a 20kg bag. The 20mm size suits water features and pond edging, planters and pot toppings, borders and flower beds, rockeries, and decorative dressing around patios and planting.

Pebbles are chosen for their shape as much as their colour. Rounded and smoothed rather than angular, they give a softer, more natural finish than crushed chippings, and they are comfortable to handle and walk on, which makes them a popular choice around seating areas, in containers, and anywhere children play. The blue-grey tones deepen noticeably when wet, which is why pebbles of this kind are so often used around water features, rills, and pond margins, where they are regularly wet and the colour is at its best.

The rounded shape does mean they move more readily than angular stone, so they stay put best in containers, enclosed beds, and areas with a defined edge, rather than on slopes or open paths where they will gradually migrate. At 20kg the bag can be carried and poured by one person, fits in a car boot, and stores easily, making it well suited to dressing pots, topping up a water feature, or picking out a small area. A depth of around 40mm is usually enough for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane.
