Longrake Flamingo Chippings are a decorative limestone aggregate in soft pink and rose tones, supplied in a 20kg handy bag. The 14–20mm size suits garden borders and flower beds, planters and pot toppings, rockeries, water features, memorial and grave dressing, and decorative areas where a distinctive colour is wanted.

Flamingo is one of the more unusual decorative aggregates, running through pale pink and blush tones with cream and grey variation between the stones. The colour deepens and warms noticeably when wet. It sits well against green planting, silver and grey foliage, pale render and stonework, and is a popular choice for containers, feature beds, and memorial dressing, where a stone with real colour is preferred to a neutral grey.

The chippings are angular rather than rounded, so they knit together into a firm surface that holds its position in beds and containers. At 20kg, the bag is sized for smaller areas and for topping up where stone has thinned over time, and it can be carried and poured by one person, fits in a car boot, and stores easily. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually enough for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath. As with all pale aggregates, dirt and organic staining show more readily than on darker stone, so Flamingo is at its best in beds, containers, and feature areas rather than under trees or in heavily trafficked spots.
