Longrake Green Granite is a decorative granite aggregate in muted green and grey-green tones, supplied in a 20kg handy bag. The 14mm size suits garden borders and flower beds, planters and pot toppings, rockeries, water features, pathways, and decorative areas where a natural green tone works better than a neutral grey.

Granite is among the hardest and most durable aggregates available, which is what sets it apart from the limestone chippings in the range. It resists wear and weathering, does not break down or soften over time, and holds its colour year after year with very little attention, making it one of the longest-lasting decorative stones you can lay. The green tones are natural to the rock rather than coated or dyed, and they deepen noticeably when wet.

The colour makes it a natural partner for planting, sitting comfortably with foliage, ferns, and shaded woodland-style beds where a bright white or cream stone would look stark. It also works well in contemporary schemes and against grey paving and slate. The chippings are angular, so they knit together into a firm, stable surface. At 20kg the bag is sized for smaller areas and topping up, can be carried and poured by one person, and stores easily. A depth of around 40mm to 50mm is usually sufficient for decorative use, laid over a weed membrane to keep the stone clean and separated from the soil beneath.
