sealProduct Description:

CT1 is a hybrid polymer sealant and adhesive in one cartridge, bonding and sealing almost any combination of building materials. Supplied in a 290ml cartridge in clear, it is used for bonding and sealing glass, mirrors, and acrylic, fixing trims, panels, and splashbacks, sealing around windows, doors, and frames, and general repair work across construction, plumbing, glazing, and DIY.

CT1 covers a wide range of jobs without a change of product. It bonds and seals on wet and damp surfaces and will even cure underwater, so repairs can go ahead without waiting for dry conditions. Once cured it remains permanently flexible, moving with temperature change and vibration without cracking, and it does not shrink, so the seal holds its shape over time. It is free from solvents and isocyanates, has very little odour, and is suitable for indoor use.

The clear finish is the choice where the joint should disappear altogether. It suits glass and glazing, mirrors, clear and coloured plastics, polished stone, tiles, and any surface where no single sealant colour would match, as well as mixed materials meeting at a joint. It is also useful for bonding decorative items and fixtures where adhesive might squeeze out at the edges and needs to stay invisible. The cured sealant is UV resistant and will not yellow or break down in sunlight. Apply with a standard sealant gun, tool the joint smooth before it skins, and clean off any excess while still wet.
